This be my stuffed toy mafia. Mashimaro's the don just because he looks good in a fedora. The kiki kitty (ohlol gaia, I have not been there in forever) is his pet, and the tofu...is just there. Mokona is Don Mashi's right hand man/woman/thing (he wouldn't stop shifting and in the end found himself nearly cut out of the photo entirely...).
And here's the newest member:
Hamster. Because fancy names are unnecessary in the field of mafia-ing.
I really, really don't want to study for physics right now. >':
Diamond Crevasse songdub lyrics rough (because a lazy child was lazy =D) based loosely off a translation I found on gendou and altered to fit syllables and the like.
A long time ago when I'd loved God with all my heart
I thought I would never need to face such a parting with you someday
If I had known that I'd never feel your touch again
I'd have hoped that just once more,
you would hold me tightly in your arms without a word
It's long long good-bye...
I say farewell, I say farewell, time and time again
I quietly repeated these words to myself,
"Is it not a kindness to keep on waving good bye?"
Oh,
Now I wish that I were stronger
That day that I'd met you the stars had shined so brightly
and I had been reborn.
I just can't stop loving you, 'cause it's part of who I am
Waiting for a hopeless miracle to happen...what's the point in that?
Through these blurry tears of mine,
I see the planet's twinkle fade away.

...just how addicting Touhou games are. (;~; ) So fun, gaah!
I wonder if I'll be able to pull myself away long enough to study for the March 14 SAT.

Just had my first session of behind the wheel training...o-o; 'twas rather surreal, and miraculous that I didn't run over anything, considering the guy had me drive all the way back to my house.
I think my biggest problem was changing lanes. And, at least initially, convincing myself that I wasn't going to die if I started going more than fifteen mph.
...blinker. mirror. look back. change. =3=; -chants-

Some things I found in my backyard yesterday:

It'll be a little while longer before these are ready to eat... ;-;

There're two more ripe ones that my mom had already picked before I could get my camera out. xD;

A pumpkin...I think.

I'm really proud of this one~ (The last few attempts at growing lilies were...erm, less than successful =3=; )

From the latter two days of my AX08 experience. =3 Ah, by the way the days are color coded by their badge colors. I don't think I ever mentioned that. x3;
Day 2 (Friday, July 4)
The Good - Another friend volunteered, too! We go to different schools so it was nice to hang out again after so long. =D She lurves taking cosplay photos, so the two of us ran around chasing what we thought were good ones. The best part had to be when we stopped by the side of a hallway to take pictures of a few brawl cosplayers. We kept taking photos as more and more people showed up, until we ended up blocking traffic (they all told us later that they were walking to a gathering, so we followed xD; ). Oh, and I GOT JYUKAI'S AUTOGRAPH~ >w< It's framed (along with autographs from various English dub actors) on my wall. Also bought a whole slew of chibi stuff from artist alley, and met the person who drew this. She added Shinji and Castor~~~~~~ <3
The Not so Good - WE MISSED THE DAVID HAYTER PANEL, THE LM.C AUTOGRAPH SESSION AND THE EVA MOVIE. AGAIN. (Well, actually, I didn't mind missing the LM.C one, it's not like I was one of those fangirls that fainted in a domino-effect -esque manner when one of them starting running in some retarded fashion or another... -_-; )
Day 3 (Saturday, July 5)
The Good - In total, we had a group of five people today. Senior friend was cosplaying Byakuya, and we stopped for photosover 9000 many times. For the heck of it we all tried to count how many Yuki Kurosu cosplayers (from Vampire Knight) there were. Lost count at around 100-something, heh. Bought a kendo practice sword and a bokken for $15 total, as well as the final volume of Evangelion Platinum Edition for $10 (talked the cosplay photog friend into getting Rahxephon vol 1 box w/ T-shirt; she told me that she marathoned the entire series on Sunday). Through some miraculous divine intervention, we were near the front of the line for the Code Geass autograph session (feat. Yuri Lowenthal, Karen Strassman and...uh...someone +_+; I was thrown off guard because he had a volunteer badge on, so I didn't catch his name). SHIN MEGAMI TENSEI PANEL WAS AWESOME. Why? Let me count the ways: 1) Saw Yuri and Karen, for the second time, 2) was able to gain insight into the localization process for the SMT series, 3) ran into a classmate from Japanese who'd just graduated this year (wish I'd known of his SMT love sooner D,= ), 4) free T-shirts for 5) PERSONA 4 WHICH WILL BE OUT THIS DECEMBER!!!!! 8D Oh, and L -change the world- was a fun movie. Ohmygosh it was so sad since I could actually understand Thai D,= I know it was a movie but it saddened me to see all those people asking for help... the beginning really reminded me of that one movie, "Outbreak". I'M REALLY MAD AT MYSELF FOR NOT EXPECTING THE TWIST AT THE END (I mean really? A love of robot toys? How much more obvious could they get?)
The Not so Good - Mein gott, the Masquerade line was longgg (as was the one for the Batman Gotham Knight premiere). Also, we all kept getting separated....very, veeerrryy often. -_-; My cosplay photog friend had to volunteer early on in the morning to get a badge, and she had brought along another friend who'd decided to buy instead. I had to go with that person, and it was a bit awkward since I'm so socially inept. xD; It was nice of her to let me play Cooking Mama 2 (lol, mama's fob english made me giggle incessantly). She wandered off often, eheh. I was super tired by the early afternoon (pepped up later after I got some sugar into my system ;P). Byakuya cosplaying friend and I were often stuck standing to the side while photog friend and her friend talked to people they knew online/from their school. >>;
Otherwise, a satisfying fourth time =D

Day 0 (Wednesday, July 2)
The Good - A friend was willing to volunteer with me, and even convinced her mom to act as my proxy.
I managed to get the verrry last shift of the day (for minors, at least), successfully earning one day pass. =D Made friends with some other people hailing from...West Hollywood I think. One was Thai (THAI POWAAA!)
The Not so Good - We had to wait FOUR WHOLE HOURS before snagging that last shift. Had to wait an hour alone before my friend was done with her shift, so all I did was stare in fascination at the ceiling lights, and pretend that I couldn't smell the stench of sweaty teenagers (there was no AC and one fan in the entire room).
Day 1 (Thursday, July 3)
The Good - Met SakuraNek0 IRL for the second time ever. Karaoke Contest was...interesting, to say the least (particularly that one girl who sang Fukai Mori with a completely different melody from the actual song, making us all wonder if she actually knew what it was she was doing -_-; ) Bought the most adorable phone strap with a chibi Hibari from Katekyo Hitman Reborn. Friend bought a Yamamoto, just to spite me (depriving me of D1869 D,=). Barely managed to resist getting the Mukuro, and the Vongola family coffee mug. Successfully bribed friend into singing "Drawing Days" during Open Mic session. Sadly unable to hear her all too well.
The Not so Good - I too tried to sing something. Took crash and burn to a whole new level (what kind of an idiot randomly starts singing harmonics in the second verse? and goes flat every other word? AND can't project their voice properly?) Feet were aching from all that standing in the assembly line andbeing forced into child labor stuffing packets for all of the wonderful con goers.
